Double Seed (Moss) Stitch Scarf

This scarf is worked back and forth in rows. So when you reach the end of a row, you turn the knitting over and knit back the other way. The stitch on each end is slipped to create a clean edge.

• Yarn: About 800yds of sport weight
• Measurements: 9 inches (23 cm) x 70 inches (178 cm)
• Gauge: 5 st x 4 rws in 1sq cm
• Needles: US size 4 (or size needed to obtain gauge)

• K1: Knit one
• P1: Purl one
• sl: Slip the stitch

CO 60

1. k1 *k1, p1* x29, sl kwise
2. k1 *p1, k1* x29, sl kwise
3. k1 *p1, k1* x29, sl kwise
4. k1 *k1, p1* x29, sl kwise

Repeat these four rows until the work reaches the desired length. Bind off. Block.
